About Dr. Stacey Schell
Dr. Stacey Schell (she/her) is a registered Clinical Psychologist, who received her Ph.D. from the University of Guelph in 2014. She works primarily with older adolescents and adults, although she also provides services for children and/or their parents. Her approach is collaborative, client-centred, empathetic, and warm, and she emphasizes individual strengths and autonomy, while also providing the necessary structure to support change. Having a background in motivational interviewing, she is particularly skilled in engaging people in the therapy process by helping them identify the changes they wish to make, and to build and maintain motivation to create those changes.
